Dyson vacuums are not the creation of a big company, with hundreds of researchers, engineers and technicians. It was an idea of one man only, who accidentally stumbled upon it. It was revealed later that Hoover had considered purchasing the patent, and Dyson had to fight for that patent in court for ever on year. Hoover simply wanted to prevent Dyson’s vacuums getting into the market. Simply because they were superior to Hoover vacuums and would destroy their number of sales. Yes, even the mighty are ready to do some nasty things and use dirty tricks.
First Dyson vacuum was sold in Japan, and price was quite high. For each vacuum, Japanese had to pay $2,000. This is what boosted Dyson so he could move on to create even better vacuums. He set up a research center in Engalnd, as well as a factory where the vacuum cleaners were manufactured. His new company started in June of 1993 and he soon introduced his first vacuum cleaner, the DC01. This is what started the domination of Dyson vacuum cleaners in the world.
Besides other things, Dyson took note of the troubles pet owners were having with keeping their homes free of pet hair, so he began working on a vacuum that would be effective at removing pet hair. Dyson Animal was born.
