Popular Mechanics is highly appreciative of this machine. Another helpful feature is that the brush can very conveniently be detached for cleaning, if needed to. Some users found its performance better than the upright in that respect. The upright at times gets overwhelmed with pet hair, but the handheld powered the brush, to help its continued working.
